Equalizer International extends overseas welcome to India, Middle East, Nigeria and Denmark

Continuing a busy and multinational 2014, Equalizer International saw visits in the first week of February by representatives from overseas distributors ABS Group, HytorAS and Atlantic Bluewater Services Ltd.

Mondale Okoro-Igbinedion from Atlantic Bluewater Services (pictured above with Bob Stephen) based in Port Harcourt recently became a distributor for Equalizer in Nigeria. Mondale came to Aberdeen also in February to spend some time with the Equalizer team and learn first-hand what the tools can offer his customers. He received extensive hands-on training with the full range of Equalizer products.

At the end of a busy first week in February, Per Østergaard and Bethina Laursen from Hytor AS (pictured above with Bob Stephen) travelled from Esbjerg, Denmark to visit Equalizer. Bob showed them the Equalizer mobile demo rig/trailer and explained the benefits of having the ability to go onsite and train users at their own premises. Per and Bethina also spent some time with John Morgan who discussed one of the latest product developments that Equalizer is working on for the renewable energy sector.

During their visit to Aberdeen’s HQ, the groups were given a demonstration of the full range of flange alignment, flange spreading and flange pulling tools by Equalizer’s Operations and Training Director, Bob Stephen. This allowed everyone to see first-hand how simple, safe and easy to use the tools.

John Morgan, the company’s Director of Engineering, took the guests through some noteworthy end-user scenarios and technical issues and introduced them to Equalizer’s latest innovation, the Flange Integrity System which can be used to restore the integrity of bolted flange joints when bolt corrosion is a concern. The flange integrity system can achieve its objective without the need to remove any of the existing bolts.

Practical demonstrations, hands-on training and technical presentations provide our distributors with the necessary information for them to respond to a wide range of customer enquiries and challenges. This in turn strengthens Equalizer’s reputation as the expert in flange tool maintenance within the oil and gas, petrochemicals, nuclear, water, mining and renewable energy sectors world-wide.
